Para-Archery World Ranking Tournament declared OPEN

Two world records broken in first qualification session on Thursday
Two world records were broken at Para-Archery World Ranking Tournament in Nove Mesto nad Metuji, CZE during qualification on Thursday morning when NEMATI Zahra of IRAN shot 622 points in women W2 class recurve bow and DE PELLEGRIN Oscar of ITALY reached 648 points in men W2 class same division. Both set new world records by destroying the previous ones 611 points resp. 636 points.
„Unhappy“ remained Mr. Salam Mohd SIDIK of Malaysia who led himself also with excellence in the whole male W2 competition with final score 647 points. This would make world record too if Oscar de Pelegrin hasn´t beaten him with one point.
Competition format is „72 arrows for 70 m“.
The world records and other personal bests were shot on Thursday morning despite relatively cold and rainy weather in Nove Mesto nad Metuji.
